Interesting the different experiences that people have. Of course, things vary, and every bike is just a little bit different. My only carb mod (intentionally) was removing the spacer and giving it a thorough cleaning. Which really helped. Except for that one range, runs really great. Is very consistent also. Happens every time at just about the same speed, no matter how long I've been riding. I've also done the air-filter correction. I may take a few discs out of the muffler and see what happens there.
